  • your site exists but few people find it on Google
  • you’re rebuilding your site and don’t want to lose your rankings
  • you sell something people actively search for
  • you want to rely less on paid ads over time

Less of a fit if

  • you need sales this week. SEO takes time, and ads are the better tool for that.See digital marketing
  • you want a promise of the top spot. Nobody can honestly promise that.

What’s included

SEO has three parts: the technology, the content and the measurement. We handle all three.

  • Technical audit

Indexing, sitemaps, redirects, duplicate content, canonical URLs (the preferred address for a page) and errors that get in Google’s way.

  • Speed and Core Web Vitals

Measuring and fixing load time, stability and responsiveness, especially on mobile.

  • Keyword research

What people type, in which inflected forms, and which page should answer what.

  • Content and headings

Titles, descriptions and copy that answer questions, plus ideas for new content.

  • Structured data

Schema.org markup so search engines and AI search tools understand what each page is about.

  • Tracking and reporting

Search Console and GA4 set up properly, and a short summary of what changed and why.

How we approach SEO

First we remove what holds the site back, then we build what’s missing.

  1. Audit

We review the technical state of the site, current traffic and where competitors stand.

  2. Prioritise

You get a list of actions ranked by impact and effort, so the biggest wins come first.

  3. Fixes and content

We fix the technical issues, rewrite titles and descriptions, and work on new content with you.

  4. Measure and follow up

We track rankings, traffic and enquiries, and adjust as we learn.

Tools we use

Measurement is based on data from Google itself, not guesswork.

  • Google Search Console
  • GA4
  • PageSpeed Insights
  • Lighthouse
  • Schema.org
  • Bing Webmaster Tools

SEO questions

What is SEO?

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work that helps search engines find, understand and trust your site, so it shows up when people search for what you offer. It covers technical structure, speed, content that answers questions, and links from other sites.

How do I rank higher on Google?

There’s no single trick. The site has to be technically accessible to search engines, fast on mobile, and answer what people search for better than other pages do. Links from trusted sites help too. We start with an audit that shows what holds the site back and what will make the biggest difference, but nobody can honestly promise the top spot.

Do you do SEO for WordPress and WooCommerce?

Yes. On WordPress sites and WooCommerce stores we look at things like themes and plugins that slow the site down, product and category pages competing for the same keywords, and structured data for products. Fixes are made in the code and settings, not just with another plugin.

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can show results fairly quickly, but content and authority build up over a longer period. The pace depends on competition for your keywords, the age and standing of your site, and how much work goes in. We set up tracking straight away so you can follow progress from day one.

How much does SEO cost?

It depends on the size of your site, its technical condition, and whether you want a one-off audit and fixes or ongoing work on content and tracking. We often start with an audit, so you can see what’s needed before committing to anything longer.

Does SEO work differently in Icelandic?

Yes. Icelandic words inflect, and people search both with and without Icelandic characters, such as “vefsíðugerð” and “vefsidugerd”. We research which forms people use and work them naturally into headings and copy, without making the text stiff.

Do I need SEO if I already run Google Ads?

Ads bring traffic while you pay, but organic rankings keep working once you have them. Most businesses benefit from both, and ad data often shows which keywords are worth pursuing organically.

How do I measure results?

Google Search Console shows impressions, clicks and positions for each keyword, and GA4 shows what people do once they arrive. We set up both and go through the numbers with you regularly, in plain language.
